It is completely ridiculous for any of us to assume the federal government should take care of us because of the elected field we choose to "work". Granted, it is admirable to watch such entertainment like dance and painting, and song writing. The bottom line is however, that these chose professions are in no way "better" than say the ditch digger with three kids who has enough pride to do whatever he can to "pay his own way" without government help. He is actually someone who deserves the assistance because of his ethic. Therein lies the major issue with welfare and insurance welfare. The people who expect it are most certainly the ones who do not deserve it.
